Their spiral motions are so weak, and fast, that hardly any gyration can be felt; it is like something watery flowing. So there are three levels of gyration, of introduction into gyres, and of agitation, i.e., the first belonging to the gallbladder, the second to the hepatic duct, and the third to the lymphatics. 1748, 26 February.
