2587. Since such and so incalculably many inexpressible states of pleasantness and happiness exist, it is also clear that their speech too is inexpressible, and more inexpressible in the inward regions. For all speaking signals a state that serves as its foundation. The speech comes forth according to the state and flows out conformably with it.
