3309. There are those who like to build
Some were watching [through my eyes] houses being built, and driven by desire, [felt] as if they themselves were building and had planned them. After several weeks when I again looked at the houses, they were finished, and then they rejoiced with as much pleasure, as anyone could who had been the owner, which they also acknowledged. Then they wanted to draw others into their company, so as to unite, for what cause I know not. Then they cast out hooks, as it seemed, to draw them in like fishermen. 1748, 24 Sept.
