129. 'And faith and thine endurance' signifies the truth (veritas), and the endeavour to procure and teach it. That 'faith' signifies the truth (veritas) may be seen above (n. 111); and it follows then that 'endurance' signifies the endeavour and exertion to procure and teach it.
