That this signifies from one origin, is evident from the signification of "sons," as being truths (see n. 489, 491, 533, 1147, 2623, 3373); and from the signification of "father," as being good (n. 2803, 3703, 3704). Hence "sons of a father" signifies truths from good, thus from one origin; moreover, all truths are from one good.
