That this signifies their conjunction, namely, the conjunction of good and truth, is evident from the signification of "the womb," as being the inmost of conjugial love; and as conjugial love comes forth from the heavenly marriage, which is the conjunction of good and truth, therefore this conjunction is signified by the "womb."
