118. That the Lord is the Father may he shown from the Word. He is there called "the Father of Eternity," "Jehovah," "one with the Father," "in the Father and the Father in him." [John 14:11]. The Father cannot be in a Human other than in that which is from Himself, thus in His Own Divine Human.
