This is clear from the meaning of 'in order that you may know' as in order that it may be made known to them. The reason why 'I am Jehovah' means that the Lord is the only God is that Jehovah means He Is, that is, the Source of the Being and Coming-into-Being (Esse et Existere) of all things, which must necessarily be unique and one.
