7905. 'For seven days' means the whole period of this state. This is clear from the meaning of 'seven days' as a holy state, as above in 7885, and also a whole period from start to finish, or a complete state, 728, 6508 - like the meaning of 'a week', 2044, 3845.^a These things being meant, it was established that this feast should last 'for seven days'.
