9721. 'The horns shall be of one piece with it' means that the power must come from good. This is clear from the meaning of 'the altar', whose horns were of one piece with it, as that which was representative of the Lord and of the worship of Him, springing from the good of love, dealt with in 9714; and from the meaning of 'the horns' as power, as above in 9719. From this it is evident that 'the horns shall be of one piece with it' means that the power must come from good. In the spiritual world all power belongs to good, but is exercised through truth, see 6344, 6423, 9643.
