CONCERNING THOSE WHO SUPPOSE THAT TRULY CHRISTIAN MEN MUST OF NECESSITY SUFFER MISERIES One of these spirits said that during his life in the body he supposed that those who professed piety were not to be pitied if they were afflicted with adversities, for the reason that they were of such a nature as to delight in misfortunes, miseries and adversities. Thus he supposed that it was necessary for a Christian to suffer such things.
