1487. HOW SPIRITUAL IDEAS [SERVE] IN DISCLOSING THE MIND [animus] OF OTHERS Because the ideas of spirits, especially of good spirits (not to mention angels) are very full, and they perceive those things in a man or soul which pertain to his "animus," therefore, when such ideas are granted by the Lord to a spirit, he can know the quality of another's "animus", and many things which cannot as yet be described. But this is from the Lord when the spirit regards those things that are true. 1748, Mar. 18. If spirits suppose they have this from themselves, they then seize upon falses as truths.
