THAT SPIRITS ARE SIGNIFIED BY WIND A spirit is likened to the wind, [John iii 8]; hence now it is that the spirits with me at this time, and on many occasions and very often, have come with a wind which struck my face, indeed, it even moved the flame of the candle and papers.
