9. Seven. The Lord who is a living stone, rejected by men, chosen of God, precious, that ye also as living stones may be built up into a spiritual house, to the unbelieving He is a stone of stumbling (1 Pet. 2:4-8). Acceptable to God through Jesus Christ (1 Pet. 2:5). He is called the Shepherd and Bishop of souls (1 Pet. 2:25). Jesus Christ, after He went into heaven was on the right hand of God; angels, authorities, and powers being subject unto Him (1 Pet. 3:22). That God may be glorified by Jesus Christ (1 Pet. 4:11).
