LEVITICUS 20

Then Yehowah spoke to Moses, and said, 2 Again you shall say to the sons of Israel, Any one of the sons of Israel, or of those who have settled in Israel, who gives any of his descendants to Molech must be put to death; the people of the land shall stone him to death. 3 And I will set my face against that man and will cut him off from his people, because he gives his descendants to Molech, defiling my sanctuary and profaning my holy name. 4 And if the people of the land should in any way hide their eyes from that man when he gives any of his descendants to Molech, and do not put him to death, 5 I will set my face against that man and his family, and I will cut off from their people both him and all who go to commit adultery with him, for committing adultery with Molech.

6 And if a person turns to spirits or wizards, committing adultery with them, I will set my face against that person, and will cut him off from his people. 7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am Yehowah your God. 8 And keep my statutes and observe them; I am Yehowah who sanctifies you.

9 Now, any one who curses his father or mother must be put to death; he has cursed his father or mother; his blood shall be upon him.

10 And if a man commits adultery with another man's wife, committing adultery with his neighbor's wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death. 11 And a man who lies with his father's wife has uncovered his father's nakedness; both of them must be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. 12 And if a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them must be put to death; they have wrought a perversion; their blood shall be upon them. 13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abhorrence; they must be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. 14 And if a man takes both a woman and her mother, it is a wickedness; the people shall burn both him and them in a fire, so that there may be no wickedness among you. 15 And if a man lies with an animal, he must be put to death; and you shall kill the animal. 16 And if a woman approaches any animal and lies down with it, you shall kill both the woman and the animal; they must be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

17 And if a man takes his sister, his father's or his mother's daughter, and sees her nakedness, she seeing his nakedness, it is a shameful thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of the sons of their people. He has uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity. 18 And if a man lies with a woman who has her sickness, and uncovers her nakedness, he has made naked her flow, and she has uncovered the flow of her blood; and both of them shall be cut off from their people. 19 And you shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister or your father's sister, for this makes naked a near-relative; they shall bear their iniquity. 20 And if a man lies with his aunt, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness; they shall bear their sin; they shall die without heir. 21 And if a man takes his brother's wife, it is an impurity; he has uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be without heir.

22 You shall therefore keep all my statutes and regulations, and observe them, so that the land into which I am bringing you to live shall not vomit you out. 23 But you shall not walk in the statutes of any nation which I cast out before you; for they did all these things, and I abhorred them. 24 But I have said to you, You shall possess their land, and I will give it to you for a possession, a land that flows with milk and honey; I am Yehowah your God, who has distinguished you from other peoples. 25 You shall therefore distinguish between clean and unclean animals, and between unclean and clean birds. And you shall not make yourselves abhorrent by any animals, birds, or things that creep on the ground, which I have distinguished for you as unclean. 26 And you shall be holy to me; for I Yehowah am holy; for I have distinguished you from other peoples, so that you should be mine.

27 Also a man or woman who has a spirit, or who is a wizard, must be put to death; the people shall stone them to death; their blood shall be upon them.
