21. LORD (Dominus).

All love and all wisdom, or all good and truth, are from the Lord (33 [CL 121]).

The name Lord is used throughout, because the Lord is Jehovah, or the Lord from eternity, who took upon Himself the Human in time (35).

The union of love and wisdom, or of good and truth, is in the Lord alone, and it is the Lord (36 [CL 121]).

The union is reciprocal (shown, 36 [CL 122]).

How the reciprocal union of love and wisdom, or of good and truth, is effected (37 [CL 123]).

The reciprocal union of the Lord and man (39, 40 [CL 123, 124]). (See LOVE.)

The union of love and wisdom, and the reciprocal union of wisdom and love, is in the Lord alone; and man is an image or organ of it (432).

The influx of the Lord with man; its quality (51). (See INFLUX.) Something concerning the marriage of the Lord and the church (69, 70 [CL 129, 130]).

No one can love the Lord from himself, but he can love Him as from himself; illustrated by the laws of influx (concerning which, see 70). How man loves the Lord as from Himself, and yet from the Lord (71). (See MIND, TURNING.)

No one can love the Lord as He is in Himself; but he can love good which is from Him, by doing it (72, 73).

Full conjunction with the Lord is wrought by conjugial love (74). (See MARRIAGE.)

Divine operation is from firsts by lasts, and thus in fullness (75).
