27. MIND (Mens).
Man's mind is his [spirit]. How it inflows into the body (illustrated, 60, 61 [CL 315]).
Man cannot inflow into the Lord, by affections of love and by thoughts of wisdom; for a lower cannot flow into a higher, for it is contrary to order: but the Lord inflows, and man receives it, and acts as from himself (70, 71).
