4726. CONCERNING THOSE WHO HAVE SLEPT MUCH. SLEEP. There was a certain one, who, in the life of the body, slept much, and had the delight of his life therein. He approached the spirits who were with me, and immediately sleepiness seized me. The spirits also complained. It was said that he had been of such a habit, and that such are of almost DO use, but are rejected; for they induce torpidity in others, so that they are unable to think: for thought belongs to wakefulness, and produces wakefulness.
