2325. No Person on earth and no spirit, nor any angel thinks, wills, does anything on his or her own power, and to think they do is a fallacy of the senses, and fantasy; and still, the Lord is not the cause of evil
This was put to spirits who imagine they think, will and do everything on their own power, and they thought the proposition was absurd, because as they perceive it, they think, will and act on their own power. But still it is the truth, and it follows from it, that they are mere instrumental substances, and the Lord Alone is life.
