66. Two. If I have all things (which are enumerated), and have not charity, I am nothing (1 Cor. 13:1-3). What charity is, is described (1 Cor. 13:4-7). But now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three, but the greatest of these is charity (1 Cor. 13:13). In Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith which worketh by charity. The law is fulfilled in one word, in this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself (Gal. 5:6, 14). Of love through faith in Jesus Christ (Eph. 3:18; 5:2). Whatsoever things are true, weighty, just, lovely, of good report, virtue, think these things (Phil. 4:8). That they may walk being fruitful in every good work (Col. 1:10, 11). That they may put on the new man, and love, and the things that belong to it (Col. 3:10, 12, 14). That they may be rich in good works, laying up a store of good for themselves (1 Tim. 6:17, 18). Concerning charity (1 Thess. 5:13; 2 Thess. 1:3).
