EXODUS 27

And you shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cub its broad; the altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits. 2 And you shall make horns for it on its four corners; its horns shall be part of it, and you shall overlay it with bronze. 3 And you shall make pans for it to take away its ashes, and shovels for it, and basins, flesh-hooks, and ashpans; you shall make all its utensils of bronze. 4 And you shall make a grating for it, a network of bronze; and you shall make four bronze rings on the four ends of the network. 5 And you shall put it underneath the ledge of the altar, and the net shall extend as far as the middle of the altar. 6 And you shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze; 7 and its poles shall be put into the rings, so that the poles are on the two sides of the altar when it is carried. 8 You shall make it hollow, out of boards; as it has been shown you on the mountain, so they shall make it.

9 And you shall make the court of the tabernacle: on the south side, on the right, the court shall have hangings of fine twined linen, a hundred cubits long for the one side; 10 and it shall have twenty pillars with twenty bases of bronze; but the hooks of the pillars and their fastenings shall be of silver; 11 and the length on the north side shall have hangings a hundred cubits long; and it shall have twenty pillars with twenty bases of bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their fastenings shall be of silver; 12 and the breadth of the court on the west side shall have hangings fifty cubits long; it shall have ten pillars with ten bases; 13 and the breadth of the court on the east side, towards the sunrise, shall be fifty cubits; 14 and the hangings on one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits long, with three pillars and three bases; 15 and the hangings on the other side shall he fifteen cubits long, with three pillars and three bases. 16 And the gate of the court shall have a screen twenty cubits long, of violet and purple and double-dyed scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of an embroiderer, with four pillars and four bases. 17 And the pillars of the surrounding court shall be fastened with silver; their hooks shall be of silver and their bases of bronze. 18 The length of the court shall be a hundred cubits, and the breadth shall be fifty-fifty throughout-and the height shall be five cubits, with hangings of fine twined linen and bases of bronze. 19 As for all the articles of the tabernacle with all its accessories and all its pegs and all the pegs of the court, they shall be of bronze.

20 And you shall command the sons of Israel to bring you pure beaten olive oil for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually. 21 Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening till morning before Yehowah in the tent of meeting outside the veil which is over the Testimony; it shall be a statute for ever throughout their generations among the sons of Israel.
