Every spirit, whatever his character, turns towards his ruling love for the reason that love is the life of everyone, as was shown in Part I, nos. 1, 2, 3; and the life turns its receptacles which are called members, organs and viscera, thus the whole man, towards that society which is in a love similar to his, thus where his love is.
